Deputy Manager Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Registered Manager in day-to-day operations of a domiciliary care service, ensuring safe and effective delivery of care.
- Building and maintaining relationships with local authorities including Sefton County Council.
- Assist in the responsibility of staff, to plan, allocate and evaluate the workload of all staff
- Embedding strong leadership, culture and accountability across the branch.
- To ensure training needs of all staff are met effectively, implementing inductions and onboarding processes.
- Identifying opportunities for business growth across private and NHS referral streams.
- Ensuring full compliance with CQC standards and improving governance processes.
- Covering on-call duties.
Deputy Manager Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Deputy Manager or Care Manager within domiciliary care.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Experience in supporting a domiciliary care business.
- NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or working towards).
- Full UK Driving Licence with access to own vehicle.
- Experience in digital systems.
