Design Engineer - Catia

Belcan Engineering is looking for a 3D Design Engineer to join our Airframe Team - Catia V5.

This role is based in Lancashire and is an Onsite role.

12 months Inside IR35 Contract position.

If you're passionate about design and manufacture of complex aircraft structures and are able to support the Build Line, solving Concession/waiver assessments, this is your opportunity.

Successful applicants must meet eligibility requirements to obtain UK Security Clearance.

As a Design Engineer you will be proficient in one or more of the following toolsets:

• 3D Modelling & Draughting
• Metallic & Composite Structures
• Electrical Installation
• Detail Part, Assembly & Installation Design
• BOM creation and documentation
• Supporting the build line with concession/waiver assessments

Proficiency in one or more of the following:

• Catia V5
• Teamcenter

• A technical problem‑solver with exceptional attention to detail
• Someone who thrives in an engineering environment
• A collaborator who values precision, quality, and ownership
• Aerospace experience
• Awareness of aircraft build processes

This position may require exposure to information which is subject to export control regulations such as the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

All applicants must meet eligibility requirements of the ITAR and of the UK/EU through completion of a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) application.
