Design Project Manager

We are delighted to be working with Europe’s dedicated data centre delivery partner, offering full turnkey solutions from design through to construction and commissioning. Headquartered in Dublin, they deliver projects across Europe and have become the most trusted name in the sector.
We are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join their project team in Sweden. This role will be responsible for managing the procurement function across projects, ensuring materials, equipment, and subcontract services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively and in line with project requirements.
Requirements
- Lead and manage the design process across all project disciplines throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of design information
- Manage the design programme in alignment with overall project schedules
- Ensure design deliverables meet project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
- Chair and attend Design Meetings, Coordination Meetings, and Project Reviews
- Oversee the review and approval of drawings, specifications, and technical submittals
- Liaise closely with construction teams to ensure design intent is achieved and buildability is considered
- Manage design changes, RFIs, and ensure timely resolution of technical queries
- Ensure effective coordination between CSA and MEP design elements
- Support commercial teams by identifying design-related risks, opportunities, and variations
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or similar discipline
- Minimum 7+ years’ experience in design management or project management within construction
- Strong experience managing multidisciplinary design teams on large-scale projects
- Proven ability to manage design programmes and deliverables in line with project timelines
- Strong technical understanding of CSA and MEP systems and design integration
- Knowledge of relevant design standards, codes, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively across design and construction teams
- Data centre, industrial, or mission-critical project experience is advantageous
