An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Director of Operations to join a fast-paced, design-led interior design studio based in the heart of West London.Ā
This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the studio, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently from concept through to completion. Working closely with designers, suppliers, contractors and leadership teams, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving operational excellence, supporting business growth and delivering an exceptional client experience across luxury residential and hospitality projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing studio operations and workflow management
- Managing team resources and project coordination
- Procurement and supplier management
- Budget oversight, reporting and financial planning
- Supporting client delivery and maintaining high service standards
- Contributing to operational strategy and business growth
- Light HR coordination and cross-functional collaboration
- Monitoring operational performance and implementing process improvements
Candidate Requirements
- Proven operations management experience within interior design, architecture, luxury property, construction, project management or a related creative industry
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing teams and fast-paced project environments
- Commercially minded with confidence overseeing budgets and operational planning
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritise effectively
- Minimum 5 yearsā relevant industry experience preferred
