An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Director of Operations to join a fast-paced, design-led interior design studio based in the heart of West London.Ā 

This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the studio, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently from concept through to completion. Working closely with designers, suppliers, contractors and leadership teams, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving operational excellence, supporting business growth and delivering an exceptional client experience across luxury residential and hospitality projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing studio operations and workflow management
  • Managing team resources and project coordination
  • Procurement and supplier management
  • Budget oversight, reporting and financial planning
  • Supporting client delivery and maintaining high service standards
  • Contributing to operational strategy and business growth
  • Light HR coordination and cross-functional collaboration
  • Monitoring operational performance and implementing process improvements

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven operations management experience within interior design, architecture, luxury property, construction, project management or a related creative industry
  • Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing teams and fast-paced project environments
  • Commercially minded with confidence overseeing budgets and operational planning
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritise effectively
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant industry experience preferred
