Location: Knutsford, Parkgate Industrial Estate

Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am till 5pm. 40 hours per week (Office Based)

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Document Controller to join our manufacturing team in Knutsford. This is an exciting time to join the fastest growing and most successful family-owned valve manufacturer in the UK.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Prepare, manage and files documents for company projects and day to day orders.

  • Support procedures to maintain transparent, up-to-date and easily traceable documents.

  • Generate and submit customer documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans.

  • Liaise with internal departments including engineering, sales, production and shopfloor.

  • Generate, where required, Manufacturing Record Books (MRB).

  • Ensure timely completion of documentation to the Customer.

  • Maintain accurate records using the company’s Document Management System (DMS).

  • Liaise with third party inspectors on all documentation related issues.

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum of 2 year’s working in the engineering or manufacturing industry or relevant experience in document process/handling/administrating.

  • Good working knowledge of quality systems such as ISO9001 is an advantage

  • Strong administration skills.

  • Proficient in computer software programs - word processors, spreadsheet programs, and database systems.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Reliability and a detail-oriented approach.

  • Be a pro-active team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Have good numeracy, literacy and communication skills.

Hours of work are 40 hours over Monday to Friday, 8:30am till 5pm.
