We are currently recruiting for an experienced Domestic Gas Breakdown & Repair Engineer to join a well-established and reputable gas contractor working within social housing properties.

This is a long-term opportunity offering consistent work, well-planned schedules, and excellent support within tight geographical working areas.

The Role

  • Attending domestic properties to carry out boiler breakdowns, fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs
  • Working on a range of domestic gas heating systems
  • Ordering required parts and managing van stock effectively
  • Ensuring first-time fix rates are maximised where possible
  • Working within occupied social housing properties
  • All work is pre-planned and scheduled in advance
  • Call Out rota 1 week in 4

Requirements

  • ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1)
  • Proven experience carrying out boiler diagnostics and repairs
  • Strong fault-finding ability
  • Experience managing van stock and ordering parts
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience working in occupied properties preferred
