Are you an experienced Pump Engineer looking to escape the corporate environment and join a genuinely supportive, independently owned business where your contribution is recognised and valued?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected specialist pump company operating across Kent and the South East. With a team of just three engineers, every individual plays an important role and is treated with the respect, trust and autonomy they deserve.

Unlike larger organisations where engineers can feel like just another number, this business prides itself on maintaining a positive culture where hard work is appreciated, communication is open and management remains approachable and supportive.

  • Salary of £48,000 - £58,000 depending on experience
  • Paid door-to-door
  • Weekend overtime available at enhanced rates
  • £100 standby payment for weekend call-out cover
  • Realistic OTE of £60,000+
  • Company vehicle

  • Long-term career stability with an established independent business
  • Friendly and supportive team environment
  • Genuine appreciation for your skills and experience

The Role
Working across domestic, commercial and residential developments, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of a wide range of above and below ground pumping systems.
The role covers a varied customer base including:

  • Housing Associations
  • New Build Residential Developments
  • Property Management Companies

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing excellent customer service on site

Every day brings something different, making this an ideal opportunity for an engineer who enjoys variety and problem-solving.

Location
The ideal candidate will be based within approximately one hour of the company's Medway office. Whilst the role is field-based, there will be occasional visits to the office to collect parts, equipment and attend team meetings.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Pump Engineer, Service Engineer or Field Service Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of above and below ground pumping systems
  • Experience carrying out fault finding, servicing and repairs
  • Electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Professional and customer-focused approach

Why Join?
This role offers something increasingly difficult to find within the industry - the chance to join a successful, independently owned company where engineers are genuinely respected and trusted.

You'll work alongside a small, experienced team that supports one another, with management who understand the realities of field service work and value the people who keep the business running.

If you're looking for a role offering excellent earning potential, paid door-to-door travel, and the opportunity to be part of a close-knit team, we'd love to hear from you
