Please note you must have a blue CSCS and NVQ in dry lining to be considered for this role.

Job Overview
Our client are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dry Liner to join their construction team on a site in Croydon. In this role, you will be responsible for boxing in works on walls to allow fire stoppers to complete their work, then make good on / finish the wall again. Works are on a CIS self employed basis and based on one site, no travel between sites required. The works will run for around 2 weeks

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install drywall panels using hand tools and power tools with precision and care
• Ensure all drywall is securely fastened to framing structures using appropriate mechanical fasteners
• Prepare surfaces by measuring, marking, and aligning drywall sheets for seamless installation
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing materials and disposing of debris regularly
• Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks to meet project deadlines efficiently
• Use forklift or other warehouse equipment as needed to transport materials safely within the site
• Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to ensure standards are met and rectify any issues promptly

Skills

• Proven experience as a Dry Liner or in a similar construction or manufacturing role involving drywall installation
• Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with assembly line processes in a manufacturing facility
• Skilled in using hand tools such as drills, saws, tape measures, and screw guns; experience with power tools is essential
• Warehouse experience including the operation of forklifts or other lifting equipment is highly desirable
• Ability to read technical drawings, measurements, and blueprints accurately
• Knowledge of factory procedures, safety protocols, and proper handling of materials in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively across different departments
