This is a fantastic opportunity for a trainee teacher or newly qualified Early Career Teacher (Maths) to build confidence, develop strong teaching practice and make a real difference to students lives.
As an Early Career Teacher (Maths), you will deliver engaging Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop confidence, resilience and a love of problem-solving.
The Role
As an Early Career Teacher, you will:
• Plan and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom where all students can succeed
• Assess, monitor and support student progress effectively
• Work collaboratively with experienced Maths teachers and subject leaders
• Develop engaging resources and contribute to schemes of work
• Support enrichment, pastoral care and the wider life of the school
• Participate fully in the schools ECT induction and CPD programme
The successful Early Career Teacher will:
• Hold, or be on track to achieve, Qualified Teacher Status by September 2026
• Have a strong academic background in Mathematics or a related subject
• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching Maths
• Have high expectations for achievement and behaviour
• Be reflective, resilient and committed to professional growth
• Share a strong commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and educational excellence
