Salary: £37,870 – £39,851 per annum
Salary will be paid in line with the Outer London Main Pay Scale (M1), suitable for Early Career Teachers.
About the Role
Teach Now is recruiting for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a welcoming and inclusive one-form entry community primary school in Muswell Hill. You will teach in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 (based on your strengths), supported by experienced colleagues, structured mentoring, and a collaborative team ethos. Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned to the KS1 or KS2 curriculum
• Adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs, including SEND
• Use effective assessment and in-the-moment feedback to support pupil progress
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, mentors and support staff
• Build strong relationships with pupils, families and the wider school community
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (mandatory)
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum (KS1 or KS2)
• Commitment to inclusive teaching and supporting pupils with SEND
• Reflective, proactive approach to professional development
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to collaborate and learn from experienced colleagues
