Pay: £110 - £120 per day
Start Date: September 2026

Hours: 8:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Full-time, Long-term (with potential for permanent)

About the Role:

Vocational Recruitment is working in partnership with an Outstanding primary school in Islington to appoint a passionate and experienced Early Years Educator for a full-time role starting in September 2026. Interviews are taking place immediately.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded Early Years team, supporting children across both Nursery and Reception. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating an engaging, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that supports every child’s development during these crucial early years.

The school is seeking an Early Years professional with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and the seven areas of learning and development. Experience supporting children with SEND is essential, along with the ability to adapt provision to meet individual needs and ensure all children can access learning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities for the Early Years Educator role:

• Support teaching and learning across Nursery and Reception classes
• Deliver engaging activities linked to the EYFS curriculum
• Promote children's development across the seven areas of learning
• Support pupils with SEND through tailored interventions and classroom support
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress where required
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Encourage communication, social development, and independence
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
• Support children's wellbeing and emotional development throughout the school day

Requirements for the Early Years Educator role:

• Previous experience working within an EYFS setting
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and seven areas of learning
• Experience supporting children with SEND is essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
