Salary: £160-£220 per day
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm
About the School
We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Bury area that is seeking to appoint a dedicated Early Years Teacher from September 2026.
The school is well-regarded for its nurturing ethos, supportive leadership, and commitment to providing a strong foundation for all children. Staff work collaboratively to create a stimulating and engaging Early Years environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity, and independence.
The Role
As an Early Years Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning, ensuring that all pupils receive the support and guidance needed to thrive during the early stages of their education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
- Promote positive behaviour through consistent and nurturing strategies
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience within an Early Years setting
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
- Be patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic in their approach
- Possess effective classroom and behaviour management skills
- Be committed to supporting the development and wellbeing of young learners
Eligibility Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Two professional references relating to working with children
