We are currently seeking a warm, enthusiastic and proactive Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in North London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young children during the crucial early stages of their education. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to create a positive, engaging and nurturing learning environment where children can thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

The Role:

• Supporting children within the Early Years classroom
• Assisting with phonics, reading, writing and numeracy activities
• Encouraging learning through play and creative activities
• Providing one-to-one and small group support where required
• Helping to maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
• Supporting children’s social development and emotional wellbeing
• Assisting with classroom preparation and daily routines

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children in an EYFS or primary school setting
• A positive, patient and caring attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
• Passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• CACHE Level 2/3 qualification desirable but not essential
