The successful Assistant Ecologist will support a range of ecological surveys, assessments and reporting work, gaining exposure to protected species surveys, habitat assessments, biodiversity net gain projects and ecological mitigation strategies. Requirements:

• Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related subject
• Previous ecology experience through employment, placements or volunteering
• Good understanding of UK habitats and protected species
• Strong communication and report writing skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Full right to work in the UK
• Ability to travel to sites when required
• Must live in or within a reasonable commuting distance of the Telford office
