Location: Rotherham
Salary: £27,000–£28,000

We’re working with a manufacturer in Rotherham who are looking for someone to join their production team.
This is a hands-on role building, testing, and repairing battery systems and electrical parts. You’ll be working on new products as well as fixing returned items.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building and assembling electrical products
- Soldering and wiring components
- Testing products to make sure they work properly
- Charging and checking batteries
- Inspecting products before they’re sent out
- Finding faults on returned items
- Stripping down and repairing faulty units
- Re-testing products after repair
- Keeping records of work completed
- Updating systems with job progress and parts used
- Keeping your work area clean and safe
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a manufacturing or production role
- Some electrical assembly or wiring experience
- Ability to fault-find (nice to have, not essential)
- Basic IT skills (Outlook, Excel etc.)
- Good team player with a positive attitude
