A leading manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join their established engineering team at a high-volume production facility in the County Durham area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across manufacturing machinery and site equipment
  • Fault finding on electrical systems including PLCs, drives, sensors, motors, and control panels
  • Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects
  • Minimising downtime and ensuring production targets are maintained
  • Working collaboratively with production and engineering teams to improve machine performance
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records and ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures


Requirements

  • Apprentice trained or formally qualified in Electrical Engineering
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Knowledge of PLC systems and automated machinery
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced production environment
  • Multi-skilled experience would be advantageous
