Job Title: Electrical Construction Manager
Location: Cambridge / East Anglia
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000

A leading Tier One M&E contractor delivering prestigious, high-value building services projects in excess of £10 million across East Anglia are looking for an Electrical Construction Manager for their growing team in Cambridge. They operate within highly regulated and technically demanding sectors including commercial, R&D, healthcare and life sciences.
Their portfolio includes complex, large-scale developments where quality, compliance and programme certainty are critical with the current focus on a high value project in Cambridge.
The Electrical Construction Manager will lead day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors and work closely with clients and project teams. You will ensure delivery of these prestigious projects to the highest standards of safety, quality, budget control and programme adherence while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
As the Electrical Construction Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of electrical installation on site.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers and specialist subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with electrical standards, health & safety and company procedures.
- Track project progress, manage site documentation and report regularly.
- Manage labour resources and schedules to meet project deadlines.
- Attend site meetings and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
- Assist in procurement and material management.
Successful applicants will have the following experience:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Construction Manager / Electrical Site Manager / Electrical Package Manager.
- Proven track record of complex high value electrical projects with values £10M+ in the commercial, healthcare or laboratory sector.
- Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of electrical systems and their installation methods.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- The ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- SMSTS or SSSTS, ECS/CSCS card.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
