Contract Electrical Design Engineer – EPLAN
Location: Lincolnshire (Remote Working Available)
Contract Length: 6 Months rolling outside IR35
Rate: £45–£55 per hour DOE
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer on behalf of a well-established engineering client based in Lincolnshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong EPLAN experience to support a range of electrical design and engineering projects on a contract basis.
The Role:
- Electrical design and engineering using EPLAN
- Producing detailed electrical schematics and panel layouts
- Supporting project delivery from concept through to completion
- Working closely with engineering and project teams
- Occasional travel to site when required
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer
- Strong working knowledge of EPLAN
- Experience producing electrical drawings and documentation
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
- Previous experience within automation, controls, or industrial engineering environments
- Own EPLAN licence would be a significant advantage
Additional Information:
- Primarily remote working
- Occasional site visits required within the Lincolnshire area
- Flexible contract opportunity with competitive rates available (£45–£55 per hour DOE)
