Our client is looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a prestigious commercial site in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established building services provider with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality maintenance solutions across London's commercial sector.
Working as part of a dedicated on-site engineering team, you will be responsible for carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive works across a range of electrical building services systems. The role offers long-term stability, opportunities for further training, and clear routes for career progression.
Duties:
- Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
- Maintenance of single and three-phase power systems
- Motors, pumps, emergency lighting and fire alarm testing
- Basic BMS operation and monitoring
- Safe isolation of plant and equipment
- Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults
- Ensuring all works are completed in line with current regulations and site procedures
- Completing logbooks, RAMS and maintenance records
- Raising and closing work orders via PDA systems
- Supporting general building services maintenance where required
- Fully qualified Electrician (City & Guilds, NVQ, EAL or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Minimum 3 years' experience within commercial building services maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
- Professional and client-facing approach
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Located within a commutable distance of the City of London
- £48,000 - £52,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
- No call-out rota
