Electrical Maintenance Engineer
South West London 
£48,000 per annum

Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a prestigious commercial site in South West London This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established building services provider renowned for delivering high-quality maintenance solutions across London's commercial sector.

Working as part of a dedicated on-site engineering team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a wide range of electrical building services systems. The role offers long-term job security, ongoing training and development, and genuine opportunities for career progression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
  • Service and maintain motors, pumps, emergency lighting systems, and fire alarm systems.
  • Operate and monitor Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Perform safe isolation procedures on plant and equipment.
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with current regulations, health and safety standards, and site procedures.
  • Complete maintenance records, logbooks, permits, and RAMS documentation.
  • Raise and close work orders using PDA and CAFM systems.
  • Provide support with general building services maintenance when required.
Requirements
  • Fully qualified Electrician (City & Guilds, NVQ, EAL, or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience within commercial building services maintenance.
  • Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and maintenance skills.
  • Professional, client-facing approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary & Benefits
  • £48,000 per annum
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
