The Opportunity:
We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Bias M&E Engineer to join a highly professional engineering team at a prestigious Central London site, located just a short walk from Charing Cross. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who wants long-term progression, exposure to critical environments, and genuine investment in their development.
The role offers a substantial training and upskilling budget, including opportunities for AP training and further career-enhancing qualifications.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems
- Fault-finding and repairing electrical systems including LV distribution, lighting, emergency systems, and controls
- Supporting HVAC, pumps, motors, FCUs, AHUs, and associated building services equipment
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and site procedures
- Working within a high-security environment requiring professionalism and attention to detail
- Participating in a 1 in 6 call-out rota
What We’re Looking For
- Electrically qualified (City & Guilds / NVQ / equivalent)
- Strong building services maintenance experience within commercial or critical environments
- Good all-round M&E knowledge with an electrical bias
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain SC/DV clearance
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
