Salary: £48,000 per annum / £23.08 per hour PAYE equivalent based on a 40-hour week

We are currently recruiting for an immediately available Electrical Engineer to join a global leading Facilities Management provider on a high-profile commercial site in London King’s Cross.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance engineer to secure a temp-to-perm position with a business that is expanding rapidly across the UK. The successful candidate will initially join on an hourly temp basis, with the role converting to a permanent position at £48,000 per annum.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a modern commercial building, ensuring all electrical and mechanical plant is maintained to a high standard.

Duties will include:

• Carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance across the site
• Working on building services equipment including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, lighting, emergency lighting and general electrical systems
• Basic fault-finding across mechanical plant and associated electrical controls
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures and site standards
• Updating and completing tasks using CAFM systems
• Liaising with the client, helpdesk and wider engineering team
• Supporting contractors and ensuring works are completed safely and professionally
• Maintaining high standards across a busy, client-facing commercial environment

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Electrical maintenance experience within commercial building services / FM
• Strong knowledge of PPM and reactive maintenance
• Experience working on systems such as AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors and associated plant
• CAFM system experience
• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• 18th Edition preferred
• Good communication skills and a professional, client-facing approach
• Availability to start immediately or at short notice

• £48,000 per annum
