Electrical Estimator – FM Projects

£60,000 - £65,000 + Package

We’re currently working with a growing Facilities Management company who are looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their Projects division based out of Dartford.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that is continuing to expand across the London & South East market, delivering a wide range of electrical and M&E projects within commercial, healthcare, education and public sector environments.

The Role:
You’ll be responsible for managing the estimating process for electrical projects typically ranging from £500k - £2m, working closely with the Pre-Construction and Operations teams to secure new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing detailed electrical estimates and tender submissions
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• Carrying out take-offs and producing accurate cost plans
• Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Liaising with clients, consultants and internal delivery teams
• Supporting value engineering and cost-saving solutions
• Assisting with bid presentations and tender negotiations
• Supporting smooth project handovers to operational teams

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within FM, M&E or Building Services
• Strong understanding of commercial electrical installations
• Experience tendering projects within live environments would be advantageous
• Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
