Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider Mayfair, London | Up to £47,000 per annum + Excellent Package

Are you a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunity with a growing FM service provider? This is your chance to take ownership of two prestigious commercial office buildings in the heart of Mayfair, London.

We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a static, single-person site role with the opportunity to grow with this role within the business and portfolio which could develop into a bigger role with greater responsibilities for the right person. 

Key Responsibilities

As the sole engineer on-site, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of M&E and fabric maintenance, covering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks, including:
  • Electrical works: lighting systems, small power installations, fault-finding, ballast replacements, control panels, and power distribution
  • Emergency lighting & fire alarm testing and compliance checks
  • HVAC support: AHUs and FCUs (filter changes and cleaning), basic chiller resets
  • Pumps and motor maintenance and monitoring
  • Water treatment: basic temperature checks (no chemical dosing required)
  • Plumbing: minor repairs including unblocking drains, replacing taps and seals
  • BMS monitoring: temperature and systems readings
  • UPS monitoring and routine checks
  • General building fabric maintenance and minor handyman tasks
  • Escorting and supervising subcontractors on-site
Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 (40-hour week), with overtime available, particularly at weekends.

Salary & Benefits

Requirements
  • Electrically qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 & 3
  • 17th or 18th Edition (BS 7671) certification
  • Strong background in commercial building services and M&E maintenance
  • Proven experience managing a site independently — highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable, proactive, and self-motivated
