Electrical Maintenance Engineer (4 on / 4 off – Days & Nights)

Location: Walsall
Salary: £58,700 basic | £60,000+ OTE + Overtime

This is a well-paid shift role for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer who wants strong earnings, stability, and a structured shift pattern.

The role

• Electrical fault finding and breakdown response across site
• Planned maintenance and TPM activity
• Repair and maintenance of plant and production equipment
• Supporting installations, upgrades, and improvement projects
• Working closely with the wider engineering team on shift

Equipment and systems

• Motors, pumps, and drives
• Low voltage control systems
• Three-phase electrical systems
• Industrial machinery and production plant

Progression

There are clear routes into:

• Senior Engineer roles
• Supervisory positions
• Project and continuous improvement work

Requirements

• Electrical apprenticeship / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Experience in industrial electrical maintenance
• Strong fault-finding skills
• Ability to work independently in a shift environment

Shift pattern

• 4 on / 4 off (days and nights)
• 40.25 hours per week
• 16-week cycle
