Mobile Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our growing facilities maintenance team, covering a portfolio of commercial properties throughout Surrey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults across commercial buildings
  • Conduct reactive maintenance and emergency call-outs when required
  • Complete electrical testing, inspection, and minor installation works
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with current regulations and health & safety standards
  • Accurately complete service reports and maintenance documentation
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and site stakeholders

Requirements

  • Recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
  • Experience within commercial building maintenance or facilities management
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and manage a mobile workload effectively

Desirable

  • 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience working within FM, healthcare, education, retail, or office environments
  • Knowledge of building services and mechanical systems
