Electrical Panel Builder

We are seeking experienced Electrical Control Panel Builders to join our client's busy workshop team in Hemel Hempstead, starting as soon as possible.

You will be working within a specialist engineering workshop that provides a complete end‑to‑end service in control panel manufacturing. The team designs, builds and tests a wide range of panels - from simple wall‑mounted enclosures to complex floor‑standing cabinets and full building energy management systems. All panels undergo rigorous inspection and testing to ensure quality, safety and energy‑efficient performance.

• Free on‑site parking

• Ongoing contract - initially 3 months, with further work in the pipeline, with the option to remain with the agency or transition into a permanent role with the client

• Working hours: 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday (1‑hour lunch)

• Overtime available

• Pay rate: £15-£20 per hour (experience dependent)

• Payment options: PAYE, CIS self‑employed, or Umbrella PAYE

You'll be joining a workshop known for:

• Delivering high‑quality, thoroughly tested control panels

• Following strict quality, safety and environmental processes

• Supporting energy‑efficient design to reduce building running costs

• Providing consultancy, design and build services all under one roof

• Proven experience in electrical control panel building

• Ability to read and work from technical drawings

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
