We are working with a well-established Building Services consultancy with a strong pipeline of secured work. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Electrical Principal or Associate Engineer to play a key role within their Plymouth office.

This position offers a combination of technical leadership, team management, and client engagement, working closely with the Office Director to support the ongoing growth of the business.

The Role

• Lead the design and delivery of electrical building services projects
• Support the Office Director in managing and developing the Electrical team
• Oversee project performance, resource planning, and delivery standards
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Contribute to winning new work and supporting business growth
• Mentor and support the development of junior engineers

Projects

You will be involved in a varied portfolio including:

• Healthcare
• Education (further and higher)
• Residential & mixed-use developments
• Leisure and hospitality

Requirements

• Strong electrical design experience within a Building Services consultancy
• Experience leading or managing teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to a high standard
• Confident in client-facing situations
• Ideally Chartered (CEng) or working towards
• Strong communication and IT skills
