Electrical Project Manager

MK-Search are currently working with a leading international M&E contractor delivering a large-scale hyperscale data centre project in the Netherlands. Due to continued growth and project demand, they are looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join the team and play a key role in the successful delivery of this mission-critical development.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of data centre and critical infrastructure projects across Europe.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of electrical works across a major data centre development, ensuring programme, quality, commercial, and client objectives are achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the day-to-day delivery of electrical packages from installation through to commissioning and handover

• Coordinating subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and client stakeholders

• Monitoring programme performance, procurement schedules, labour requirements, and project risks

• Leading site meetings and providing regular progress updates to project stakeholders

• Ensuring compliance with all health & safety, QA/QC, and project-specific standards

• Managing project documentation, reporting, and change control processes

• Supporting testing and commissioning activities to ensure successful project completion and client handover

• Driving quality, productivity, and programme performance across all electrical activities

Requirements

• Trade or degree qualified in an Electrical discipline

• Proven background within the electrical contracting sector

• Minimum of 8 years' experience in project delivery or construction management positions

• Strong understanding of electrical systems within large-scale construction environments

• Experience managing subcontractors, programme delivery, and stakeholder relationships

• Previous data centre, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, industrial, or similarly complex project experience would be advantageous
