The Opportunity

One of the UK's leading fit-out contractors, with a turnover exceeding £100 million, is looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join its dedicated MEP division.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will take ownership of electrical packages from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget.

This role requires a technically strong and commercially aware Project Manager who is comfortable managing client relationships, leading project teams, and driving successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage electrical packages across CAT A and CAT B commercial fit-out projects

• Oversee project delivery from pre-construction through to handover

• Review and manage technical submittals (Tech Subs) and design coordination activities

• Lead site teams, supervisors, subcontractors, and specialist suppliers

• Maintain strong client relationships and act as a key project contact

• Manage project budgets, variations, procurement, and commercial performance

• Ensure compliance with programme, quality, and health & safety requirements

• Attend client meetings and provide regular project updates

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within commercial fit-out projects

• Strong background delivering CAT A and CAT B schemes

• Experience managing technical submittals and design coordination

• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills

• Strong commercial awareness and financial management capability

• Experience leading project teams and subcontractors

• Ability to manage multiple project priorities within a fast-paced environment

Candidates without CAT A/CAT B commercial fit-out experience will not be considered.
