Job Title: Electrical Project Manager
Location: London
Rate: £280/day (Equivalent £68K–£73K)

The Role:

  • Lead delivery of electrical packages on commercial Cat A & Cat B fit-out projects (£150k–£2m+).

  • Manage full project lifecycle including design coordination, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover.

  • Develop and maintain project programmes, ensuring milestones are achieved.

  • Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, architects, and MEP teams.

  • Oversee site operations ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and BS 7671 regulations.

  • Manage procurement of materials and subcontractors.

  • Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost performance.

  • Manage variations and support valuations and applications for payment.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks.

  • Attend and lead client and progress meetings.

  • Act as main client-facing representative throughout delivery.

  • Ensure RAMS and site safety documentation are compliant.

  • Carry out site inspections and ensure CDM 2015 compliance.

  • Provide technical support to clients and project teams.

  • Ensure quality control and continuous improvement.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Electrical Project Manager experience on commercial fit-out projects.

  • Experience delivering projects £500k+.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical building services installations.

  • 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

  • SMSTS and ECS Gold/Black Card (or equivalent).

  • Strong commercial awareness including variations and cost control.

  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

  • Competent with Microsoft Project or similar tools.

  • Able to manage multiple deadlines under pressure.

  • Willing to travel across London daily.
