Electrical Supervisor

£50,000 basic salary

Due to continued growth and increasing demand, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in overseeing electrical projects, managing site teams, and maintaining our exceptional standards of workmanship and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising electrical installation, maintenance, and repair works across domestic, commercial, and industrial projects
  • Managing and coordinating electricians and subcontractors on site
  • Ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications
  • Conducting site inspections, quality checks, and ensuring compliance with current regulations and industry standards
  • Reviewing and interpreting electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Monitoring project progress and reporting updates to management
  • Supporting testing, inspection, and commissioning activities
  • Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and customer service at all times
  • Assisting with material management, labour planning, and project scheduling

What We're Looking For

  • Fully qualified Electrician (18th Edition, City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or lead electrician role
  • Strong background across domestic, commercial, and industrial electrical installations
  • Excellent knowledge of current electrical regulations and health & safety requirements
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage workloads, prioritise tasks, and motivate teams
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

  • ECS Gold Card
  • City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection Qualification (or equivalent)
  • SSSTS or SMSTS Qualification
  • Experience with fire alarms, security systems, and renewable energy installations
