They currently seeking an ambitious and driven Electrical Supervisor that is keen to progress through the ranks and further their career in a company known for their career progression opportunities. Ideally, candidates will have experience working as an Electrical Supervisor on large scale industrial projects. You will be working for a cutting edge, forward-thinking contractor that operates a diverse business model. With the order book full for several years, there is excellent scope for a credible Electrical Supervisor to play a pivotal role in helping the growth and expansion of the business over the coming years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all electrical installation activities on site, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme.
  • Manage and oversee subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards and health & safety requirements.
  • Monitor installation progress and proactively identify and resolve technical or operational issues.
  • Attend and contribute to Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning & Coordination Meetings and Client Meetings.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and Construction Managers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation to ensure installations are carried out in accordance with design requirements.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to minimise clashes and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure all inspections, testing and commissioning activities are planned and completed in line with project milestones.
  • Support the management of labour resources, material deliveries and site logistics.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of workmanship, quality control and housekeeping across all electrical works.
  • Assist in the preparation of progress reports, look-ahead schedules and completion documentation.
  • Drive a strong safety culture on site and ensure compliance with company and client HSE policies.
  • Support project handover activities, including snagging, commissioning and final close-out documentation.
  • Report directly to the Project Manager and provide regular updates on progress, risks and resource requirements.

Key Requirements

  • Relevant Data Centre, Mission Critical or Critical Infrastructure experience is highly desirable.
  • Previous commercial, industrial or large-scale installation experience is essential.
  • Proven experience working as an Electrical Supervisor on major construction projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications and technical documents.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems within commercial, industrial or mission-critical environments.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams on site.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
  • Degree qualified, apprenticeship trained or trade-qualified candidates will be considered.
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience delivering critical infrastructure, industrial or commercial projects in a supervisory or management capacity.
  • A proactive approach with a strong focus on quality, safety and programme delivery.
