Electrical Wireman and Warehouse Operative

Our Mechanical Engingeering Client in Elstree needs an Electrical Wireman and Warehouse Operative for immediate start.

Electrical Wireman and Warehouse Operative duties:

• Split role working as an electrical wireman and warehouse operative
• Working alongside the existing in house electrical wireman
• Electrical assembly work
• Testing and quality management
• Working with the warehouse manager
• Signing for, unloading, booking in and putting goods away
• Picking and packing customer orders ensuring the items are packed securely and safely and despatched together with the appropriate paperwork
• Some assembly work prior to despatch
• Keeping all work areas neat and tidy

Electrical Wireman and Warehouse Operative Key Skills or Requirements:

• Lives within a commutable distance of the Elstree premises
• Self motivated, reliable and can-do attitude
• Attention to detail and can produce work consistently to a high standar
• Good communication skill
• Able to work alone as well as part of a team
• Practical hands on approach and logical thinker
• Some computer work involved using companies enterprise software
• Forklift truck training will over time be provided leading to an operator's licence

Electrical Wireman and Warehouse Operative Hours of work:

• Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 4pm and 8:30am to 3:00pm Friday (unpaid 30-minute)
• 32 hour week

Electrical Wireman and Warehouse Operative Pay Rates:

• Hourly rate of £14-£15 £26k subject to experience
