Why Join Them

This Electrician opportunity offers the chance to join a growing and well-run business with a strong pipeline of repeat work. The Electrician will work on a variety of projects rather than being tied to a single site or sector, providing excellent variety and long-term job security.

The company aims to keep as much work as possible within West Yorkshire, allowing electricians to maximise their earnings while remaining close to home. However, they also have several nationwide clients, creating opportunities to work on larger projects and earn additional income through overtime and working away allowances.

The team has built a reputation for quality workmanship and professionalism, creating a positive working environment where good electricians are valued and supported.

About the Role

As an Electrician, you will be involved in a range of commercial installation and fit-out projects across multiple sectors. The Electrician will carry out installation, maintenance and testing work while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Projects include:

  • Retail fit-outs
  • Student accommodation
  • Schools and colleges
  • Warehouse fit-outs
  • Banking environments

Key responsibilities include:

  • Installing electrical systems and equipment on commercial projects
  • Carrying out containment, wiring and final fix installations
  • Working from drawings and specifications
  • Testing, inspecting and fault-finding electrical systems
  • Completing electrical upgrades and refurbishment works
  • Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and company standards
  • Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
  • Liaising with site management and other trades on project delivery
  • Completing relevant installation and testing documentation
  • Representing the company professionally on client sites

Applicants should be qualified electricians with commercial installation experience. Experience within retail fit-outs, student accommodation, education, warehouse or similar environments would be advantageous.

Candidates must be willing to travel as required and stay away from home on occasion depending on project workload and client requirements.

Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrician seeking a long-term position with a reputable contractor offering varied work, strong earning potential and a genuine commitment to its workforce. The combination of local projects, nationwide contracts, door-to-door pay and regular overtime opportunities makes this a particularly attractive role for an experienced Electrician looking to progress their career.
