We're hiring for an Assembly / Wiring Operative to join a well-established engineering manufacturer in Manchester. The business operates within the building services sector, supplying equipment used in heating, cooling and mechanical systems.
What you'll be doing
- Assembling mechanical components to specification
- Completing basic electrical wiring work
- Working from drawings, instructions and build sheets
- Using hand and power tools safely
- Carrying out quality checks on finished products
- Supporting production targets in a busy manufacturing environment
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in Mechanical Assembly or wiring
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work accurately
- Team player with a proactive attitude
- Engineering or production experience would be an advantage
