Salary: Up to £70k (depending on experience)
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electronics Engineer to join a well-established and innovative engineering organisation. This position offers the chance to work within a collaborative technical team developing advanced electronic solutions for highly regulated and demanding applications.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development, testing, and verification of sophisticated electronic systems. Working across the full product lifecycle, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality engineering solutions.
About the Role
- Design and develop a range of electronic systems including analogue, digital, and power-based circuitry
- Create schematic drawings and PCB designs using recognised electronic CAD software
- Carry out simulation, analysis, and verification of electronic designs
- Assist with prototype assembly, fault finding, testing, and debugging
- Produce and maintain detailed technical documentation including specifications, reports, and test plans
- Ensure designs meet relevant industry and regulatory standards
- Work closely with software, mechanical, and production teams to ensure seamless system integration
- Participate in design reviews, risk analysis, and continuous improvement activities
About You
- 5+ years’ experience in an electronics engineering role
- Degree qualified in Electronic Engineering or similar relevant discipline
- Hands-on experience in electronic circuit design across analogue / digital electronics
- Strong knowledge of component selection, circuit theory, and full system integration
- Experience using schematic capture and PCB layout packages such as Altium, OrCAD, or KiCad
- Competent using electronic test and diagnostic equipment including oscilloscopes and signal generators
- Understanding of embedded systems and microcontroller design principles
- Proven fault-finding and debugging capability on complex electronic assemblies
