The Role

As an Electronics Software Engineer, you will work across both hardware and embedded software, playing a key role in the design, development, testing, and integration of mission-critical security systems.

You'll collaborate closely with mechanical and systems engineers to deliver robust, field-tested solutions designed to operate in some of the most demanding conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop analogue and digital electronic circuits
  • Develop embedded software, balancing time between hardware and firmware design
  • Program and manage microcontrollers for I/O control and system integration
  • Support and participate in high-security testing, including blast and ballistic validation
  • Work cross-functionally to deliver fully integrated security systems
  • Contribute to team development through mentoring and knowledge sharing

What You'll Bring

  • Strong experience in analogue and digital electronics design
  • Proven embedded software development experience (C/C++ preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with microcontrollers and system integration
  • British passport (required for security clearance)
  • A passion for developing innovative, high-reliability systems in low-volume environments
