Hexwired Recruitment is recruiting for an Embedded Software Engineer

Hexwired Recruitment is working with a leading technology company developing advanced KVM and IP-based connectivity products used in mission-critical environments worldwide.

We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join a growing R&D team, working across the stack from Linux kernel and device drivers through to real-time multimedia streaming applications. This is a hybrid role within a highly collaborative engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop embedded software in C / C++
  • Work on Linux-based systems and drivers
  • Support performance-critical and streaming applications

Required Experience

  • Strong background in Embedded C development
  • Good understanding of Linux systems programming
  • Experience with multi-threaded applications

Desirable Experience

  • HDMI / DisplayPort / USB protocols
  • Video over IP or streaming systems
  • Kernel or device driver development
