Engine Builder 
£17 per hour PAYE rising to £18.20 PAYE from week 13 onwards
Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm.
Friday 7am - 1pm
Overtime available
6 Month Contract Minimum (with potential for extension or permanency)

We’re recruiting skilled Engine Builders to join a cutting-edge rail operation in Burton-on-Trent, where innovation meets precision. Key Responsibilities

As an Engine Builder, your duties will include:

• Stripping and rebuilding mechanical engines in line with work instructions
• Working accurately to OEM manuals and technical documentation
• Reading and interpreting assembly specifications to plan and complete build activities
• Verifying part conformity against stock lists using measuring equipment such as callipers, gauges, and micrometres

Essential

• Previous experience working in a similar role, building engines for different sectors such as automotive or industrial  
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently when required
