English Teacher Required – SEN School, Wiltshire – Immediate Start
We are seeking a dedicated and resilient English Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Wiltshire on a full-time basis, with an immediate start available.
The school caters for pupils with a range of additional needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, challenging behaviour, and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people and supporting them to achieve their full potential.
The Role- Full-time English Teacher position
- Immediate start available
- Teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4 (experience with KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Supporting pupils with behavioural challenges and ASC
- Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to promote positive outcomes for students
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching English within a secondary setting
- Previous experience working within SEN, SEMH, alternative provision, or specialist settings is highly desirable
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Patient, adaptable, and committed to supporting vulnerable learners
- Able to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
