English Teacher - Inspire a Love of Language and Literature

TradeWind Recruitment is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Kettering. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them develop strong literacy skills and a lifelong appreciation for English Language and Literature.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and creative English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Plan, prepare and assess work in line with the national curriculum.

  • Monitor and support student progress, ensuring all learners achieve their potential.

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Contribute to the wider life of the English department and school community.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.

  • Strong subject knowledge of English Language and Literature.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • A commitment to raising achievement and supporting student success.
