Our client, a leading provider of integrated facilities management and infrastructure solutions is hiring for an Environmental Manager who enjoys making environmental improvement practical, positive and part of everyday work. This role sits at the heart of the UK division, working collaboratively with teams across the business to strengthen environmental performance, support transparency and embed robust environmental management practices.

You will play a key role in shaping how environmental data, systems and targets are developed, communicated and used. Working closely with delegation Heads of Environment and specialist teams, you will help create clarity, consistency and confidence in our environmental approach while championing continuous improvement and positive engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate environmental activities across all UK delegations.
  • Lead and maintain the UK division Environment Management System aligned to ISO 14001.
  • Deliver clear and accurate environmental reporting for internal and external disclosures.
  • Manage Scope 1, 2 and 3 carbon data with actionable insight.
  • Support environmental incident investigations and system improvements.
  • Enable the development of realistic environmental roadmaps and targets.
  • Support delivery of commitments on water, circular economy and biodiversity.
  • Share environmental news and updates through internal communication channels.
  • Champion environmental initiatives and recognition programmes across the business.
  • Foster strong collaboration and positive engagement within environmental teams.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience leading environmental management activities.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental reporting and disclosure frameworks.
  • Confidence working with environmental data and performance metrics.
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly to varied audiences.
  • Practical understanding of ISO 14001 and management systems.
  • Experience supporting carbon footprint assessment and reporting.
  • Collaborative approach when working across teams and disciplines.
  • Relevant environmental qualification.
  • Professional curiosity and awareness of emerging environmental topics.
