JOB DESCRIPTION
Do you have a passion for leading teams and delivering exceptional service? The Guinness Partnership has a new opportunity for an Estates Services Officer to join our team on a full‑time, 6-month fixed-term basis to lead our Estates and Grounds Maintenance operations across the West London area.
As an Estates Services Officer, you will be responsible for facilitating and scheduling the delivery of cleaning, gardening, and grounds maintenance services. You will ensure that all activities are delivered within agreed budgets and in full compliance with Health and Safety, COSHH, and PPE legislation.
You will work closely with residents on site to identify service improvement opportunities, ensure repairs are reported, oversee the removal of fly‑tipping and graffiti, and raise safeguarding alerts where required. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all allocated equipment, fleet vehicles, materials, and consumables are supplied, used, and maintained in line with organisational policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.

We are seeking an individual with a strong track record of leading teams to deliver consistently high levels of customer service. You will be a motivational leader who actively promotes and models the Guinness behaviours.
You will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience leading and managing remote and dispersed teams, with strong performance management capability
- A proven track record of working to agreed standards, specifications, and timescales
- Experience delivering high‑quality estate services, including grounds maintenance, gardening, communal block cleaning, weed spraying, refuse removal, and compliance activities
- Direct experience working with customers and responding to customer feedback within a service delivery environment
- Knowledge and understanding of compliance processes and relevant Health and Safety legislation, including COSHH, PPE, and RIDDOR
- Experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and overseeing stock management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A good level of IT proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- A full, current UK driving licence with the ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
Desirable experience and qualifications
- A Horticulture NVQ, BTEC, or relevant professional qualification
- Institute of Occupational Safety and Health certification
- An understanding of service charges
- Experience in performance and managing dispersed teams
