Job Title: Estimator / Assistant Estimator – Groundworks

Location: East Midlands

Salary: Competitive (DOE)

Overview:

A prestigious, well-established groundworks contractor is seeking an Estimator / Assistant Estimator to join their commercial team. The role involves working on large-scale residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects up to £25m+.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and support tenders for groundworks packages

Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents

Measure quantities and build up rates

Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors

Support value engineering and tender submissions

Requirements:

Experience or strong exposure to groundworks/civils estimating

Good understanding of take-offs and pricing

Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness

Ambitious with a desire to progress
