About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join a Long Term Team in Bournemouth. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident practitioner who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care and safeguarding outcomes.

You will work with children, young people, and families on a long-term basis, ensuring stability, positive outcomes, and strong care planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload within the long-term team
• Undertake assessments, care planning, and reviews
• Work closely with children, families, and partner agencies
• Ensure safeguarding standards are met and maintained
• Prepare reports for court and attend hearings where required
• Contribute to permanency planning and stability for children

About You

• Qualified Social Worker (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• Registered with Social Work England
• Proven experience in a long-term children’s services team
• Strong assessment and report-writing skills
• Confident managing complex cases and working autonomously
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
