Extrusion Operator

Location: Brigg, North Lincolnshire
Pay Rate: £13.91 per hour

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off

• 2 Days: 6:00am – 6:00pm
• 2 Nights: 6:00pm – 6:00am

Average Hours: 42 per week

Elevation Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a well-established manufacturing business based in Brigg, North Lincolnshire, who are looking to recruit an Extrusion Operator to join their production team.

This role offers an opportunity to work within a structured, safety-focused manufacturing environment, operating extrusion machinery to produce high-quality products in line with production targets and customer specifications.

• Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machinery safely and efficiently
• Ensure raw materials are loaded and processed in accordance with production requirements
• Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process and make adjustments where necessary
• Carry out routine quality checks and accurately record production data
• Package and label finished products in line with internal and customer requirements
• Complete production documentation and update relevant systems accurately
• Monitor machine performance and carry out basic troubleshooting to minimise downtime
• Report maintenance issues promptly and assist with planned maintenance activities where required
• Rework non-conforming products in accordance with company procedures
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping around machinery and work areas
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and production efficiency targets
• Update Daily Management boards as required
• Comply with all health, safety, quality, and environmental procedures

• Previous experience operating extrusion machinery or similar manufacturing equipment
• Strong understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to monitor quality standards and work accurately to specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Flexible approach to working shifts and supporting production requirements
