Salary: Competitive Daily Rate (£95 - £105 per day dependent on experience)

Do you hold a Level 3 (or Level 2) childcare qualification and love working with the youngest learners? Academics is currently recruiting for a dedicated EY Qualified TA in Ellesmere Port to support a thriving, inclusive primary school starting this September.

The school is looking for an enthusiastic support professional who can seamlessly step into their early years department. This is a brilliant opportunity to work within a modern, well-resourced foundation unit alongside an experienced classroom teacher.

What We Are Looking For:

• A recognized childcare qualification (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ/CACHE in childcare).
• Practical experience working within an EYFS classroom or nursery environment.
• Superb communication skills and a patient, nurturing approach to behaviour management.
• A proactive attitude toward professional education and training to best support children with diverse needs.

Your Role as an EY Qualified TA in Ellesmere Port:

• Supporting the class teacher with the daily setup of creative, play-based learning zones.
• Leading small group interventions to boost early literacy, phonics, and numeracy skills.
• Ensuring a safe, caring environment for all pupils as a trusted EY Qualified TA in Ellesmere Port.
• Assisting with observations and recording development milestones to support the class profile.
