We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join a well-established Early Years and Foundation Stage Unit in the S20 area. This is a full-time position for an immediate start, offering an excellent opportunity to lead a Nursery class within a supportive and experienced team.
EYFS Teacher Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Nursery class, ensuring a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Work collaboratively with support staff to meet the individual needs of all children.
- Monitor and track pupil progress, maintaining accurate records and contributing to assessments.
- Foster positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.
- Promote children’s development across all areas, supporting their social, emotional, and educational growth.
EYFS Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
- Experience working within an early years or nursery setting.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for early childhood education and child development.
