Teaching Personnel

Teaching Assistant is currently recruiting experienced and enthusiastic EYFS-trained Teaching Assistants on behalf of our clients across a range of nursery and school settings. We are looking for reliable, caring, and motivated individuals who are passionate about supporting children in their early years development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers and nursery staff in delivering activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
  • Assist children with learning, play, and developmental activities
  • Support children's social, emotional, and educational progress
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and setting policies at all times

Minimum Requirements (Essential):

  • Minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent
  • Recent Paediatric First Aid certification/training
  • Recent experience working within an EYFS setting
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable, adaptable, and professional approach

Desirable:

  • Level 3 qualification or above
  • Experience supporting children with additional needs
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
